LaSTEMA Career Conference

Posted April 16, 2019April 16, 2019 Edgar Palacios

Dear creative colleagues,

Diversity in STEM is still a huge need. This week, LaSTEMA.org is hosting panels of diverse Kansas City scientist, technologist, engineers, mathematicians and advertising/arts professionals at the LaSTEMA Career Conference. This event starts 9AM Thursday morning at the Metropolitan Community College Education Center. You are invited.

Diverse women in STEM will be sharing their inspirational stories of how they chose their career, the challenges they faced, and how they succeeded. This is our way of inspiring other young diverse professionals. Our goal at LaSTEMA.org is to create a pipeline of diverse women going into the STEM industries where there’s a serious lack of diversity.

If you have anyone on your Board of Directors or even a young entrepreneur you’d like to extend an invitation, we’d be happy to add them to our guest list for you.
